From the hand saw to the laser

Our company was founded under the name Stroj & Spol by my father, Josef Baumruk. At the time he established the company, he had extensive experience in engineering and leadership, but all his experience was gained as an employee in a socialist enterprise. Starting a company a year after the revolution must have been a huge challenge, as he had no capital or experience with market economy or private business.
